Smart Pet Technology

Turning smart pet products into creator-led proof, for audiences that buy what they can see

The situation

Cheerble builds smart pet products designed around play, enrichment, and modern pet care. For products that move, react, and create visible joy, the best marketing is not a claim. It is a trusted demo from the right person, in front of the right pet-loving audience.

Pet-tech lives or dies on being seen in action. A generic ad can show a smart toy or fountain, but only a creator can show whether a real pet actually engages with it, how an owner fits it into daily life, and what happens after the novelty wears off.

Pet owners know this, which is why the category runs on reviews, reaction videos, and community recommendations rather than product pages alone.

The challenge

Cheerble's product range spans interactive toys, smart fountains, and feeding, which means its audiences span cat households, dog households, gadget lovers, and gift shoppers. Each group trusts different creators for different reasons.

The brand needed creator segments matched to product types and pet audiences, demo angles that make the product value clear within seconds, trusted routes into pet owner communities where recommendations actually move purchases, and a repeatable outreach system that could serve both product launches and seasonal campaigns.

The turn

The shift we designed for was a change in the first sentence of every outreach: from "please promote this product" to "here is why your audience will enjoy seeing this tested." The first is a favor the creator does for the brand. The second is content the creator wants anyway.

What we did

  • Mapped creator categories by what they could credibly show. Pet reaction and enrichment demos prove engagement. Dog toy durability reviews prove build quality. Cat play and indoor stimulation content proves relevance for households that need enrichment most.
  • Positioned smart home and gadget discovery channels for tech-first buyers, and gift-guide and seasonal shopping content for moments when pet products are bought for someone else.
  • Reached community-led owner recommendation channels — the private groups where trust is highest and public metrics rarely reach.
  • Shaped a specific introduction angle and a suggested content hook for each creator category, so that the first message demonstrated an understanding of that creator's audience rather than asking for space in front of it.
  • Organized the system around cadence: which categories fit product launches, which fit seasonal peaks, and how relationships built in one cycle carry into the next.

What changed

Cheerble came away with a clearer creator-led growth map for smart pet products, and practical outreach angles that fit the way pet audiences actually make purchase decisions: through visible proof, trust, and emotional resonance. The map is reusable by design, turning every launch and season into an application of the same system rather than a new cold start.

In pet-tech, proof is not the claim that a product works. Proof is the moment a pet makes the claim unnecessary.
