AI Hardware & Productivity

Bringing a new AI hardware category to market through people who could show it working

The situation

EurekaMind is an AI note-taking product built for meetings, calls, and knowledge workflows: part hardware, part AI assistant, part productivity system. That combination makes the story powerful and hard to tell quickly.

The obvious label for EurekaMind is a recorder, and the obvious label is too small. The product's real promise is what happens after capture: conversations become structured notes, follow-ups, tasks, and reusable knowledge without the user juggling apps to get there.

That promise had to land with audiences who care about productivity, AI workflows, founder tools, sales meetings, and personal knowledge management. Each audience hears the word recorder and risks filing the product into an old category before seeing what is new.

The challenge

The team needed a sharper product narrative for a category that did not have an obvious name yet, channels that could demonstrate real use cases rather than describe them, warm introduction paths into AI, productivity, founder, sales, and hardware communities, and a launch playbook that would keep working after launch week ended.

The central challenge was not awareness. It was category translation: helping the right people recognize the moment in their own week when the product would matter.

The turn

New categories are not explained. They are witnessed. Nobody buys a category description, but almost everyone recognizes a moment from their own week: the investor meeting where they were too busy writing to think, or the discovery call whose follow-ups evaporated by Friday.

What we did

  • Mapped the core moments where the product's value is self-evident: founder and investor meetings, sales discovery calls, client follow-ups, lectures and interviews, team knowledge capture, and personal productivity workflows.
  • Matched those moments to audience clusters and trusted voices. A sales leader demonstrating cleaner follow-ups speaks to a different room than an AI builder examining the capture-to-action pipeline, and both are more persuasive than a spec sheet.
  • Sharpened the positioning: why a dedicated AI capture device changes behavior at all. Faster start, less distraction, better recall, and a cleaner path from conversation to action — the argument that separates a new category from a feature.

What changed

The work produced a clearer go-to-market narrative, stronger creator-market fit, and a repeatable outreach playbook that serves launch and post-launch campaigns. Instead of a one-time announcement, EurekaMind came away with a durable way to keep putting the product in front of the people most likely to recognize themselves in it.

For new categories, the demo is not supporting evidence. It is the category definition.
